The largest auditorium of the University of Regensburg, the Auditorium Maximum, has been used as a concert hall since the Odeon Concerte subscription series was launched.

Famous soloists and conductors, such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Edita Gruberova, Kurt Masur und Ricardo Muti have been on stage and appreciate the outstanding acoustics of this hall.

The seating in the Audimax is continously tiered.
